INTERNAL HOUSE REPAINT
PAINT IT CO partnered with the home owners of a one story house in Colyton for an internal repaint.

As you can see in the before photos, holes needed patching on the ceiling in the kitchen area where a water leak had occurred due to the recent heavy rains. We patched several ceiling cracks caused by structural movement of the house, particularly in the lounge room area, and gapped all cracks on the cornices.
Further patching of the pendant light holes where the old lights were, as the owners had installed new down lights. The second bedroom ceiling had minor cracks (crows feet) and peeling paint and need to be scraped back, sealed and skim coated twice for a smooth finish.

The walls required a 3 coat system as they were dark blue. First coat was an undercoat to seal the surface. Then we applied two finish coats of white wall paint.

The woodwork was previously painted in white oil base enamel but over time it started yellowing in the areas where the sun didn't reach it. We applied an oil base undercoat to all the woodwork as a first coat. Then we applied two coats of water based enamel in off white to highlight the contrast between the walls and woodwork.

The home owners were stoked with the results as you can see from their feedback. This was an awesome transformation - check out the photos!
