07 Picton

PAINT IT CO travelled down south to Picton to refresh a beautiful heritage building that was built in the 1800's. Our project was to paint a total of 8 internal double-hung sash windows.

 

These windows required a 3 coat paint system and us converting them from an oil based finish to a water based finished. As seen in the before photos, the colour of the windows were a pastel peach colour and the customer wanted to paint them a semi-gloss white to match the recently painted walls and ceilings. This job required patience as you have to paint the double hung windows in sections by moving them up and down but also considering drying time.
