06 Glenmore Park (C)

After completing the interior painting for this lovely home in Glenmore Park, the owners were happy with PAINT IT CO's results and asked us to quote the exterior of their home. These areas include: Fascia's, Eaves, Gables and Colorbond Fence.

 

The fascia's required an extensive clean in the preparation stage to remove the dirt, grime and mould off the surface. We also sanded the surface for the paint to adhere to. We applied 2 coats of (Colorbond colour: classic cream).

 

The eaves required a basic prep which involved gapping the quads where they've cracked due to ageing, punching in some nail holes and puttying them up, patching the screws holes from existing cables, thorough sand to smoothen the surface. We then applied 2 coats of Taubmans all weather low sheen (white) to brighten the area.

 

The gables required more preparation due to the morning sun and weather overtime rotting the timber and creating cracks on those areas. Cutting and digging out the rotten areas and bogging and shaping them to match existing. Then we painted applied 2 coats (Colorbond colour: Classic cream) to help protect the surface.

 

The front colorbond fence has faded and the surface has become powdery due to the sun and rain breaking down the paint on the surface. We used a metal scowrah to wash and clean the surface and patched existing holes where the screw hinges were. We then applied 2 coats of all weather (Colorbond colour: Pale Eucalyptus) by spray gun.
