HERITAGE COMMERCIAL REPAINT

PAINT IT CO was trusted with this classic heritage listed building that was built in the late 1800's located in Picton. This project required thorough and careful preparation due to the age of the building and low maintenance.

The vintage style coffered ceilings required sealing to protect from water stains and gapping where cracks had formed from structural movement. The pendant lights were removed and patched ready for new down lights to be installed. To finish the ceilings, we applied two coats of white ceiling paint.

The wall colours were outdated with dark accent tones all throughout. Cracks had formed on the render walls and required significant patching to fix these areas. We recommended a refreshing modern style colour scheme - more bright and inviting vibes whilst respecting the heritage vibe.

The timber had a two-toned pastel colour scheme. We sanded all the doors, frames, windows and skirting boards and applied an oil base undercoat to all the woodwork as first coat. We then painted two coats of white semi gloss for a brighter, fresher and cleaner finish.
